Reducing Miscommunication

ABRZ solves a decades old issue. How many times have you had coworker send you an acronym that you didn't know? As an engineer working at an Aerospace company, I have to look up the meaning of acronyms multiple times every week. Sometimes I even catch myself assuming I know the meaning already when, in fact, I didn't or I was slightly wrong in my assumption.

That's why I thought of building ABRZ. It leverages Microsoft Office Suite a tool that I and over a million of businesses use every day in the office. This allows seamless acronym/abbreviation searching. Let's drive down miscommunication!

Continuous Education

ABRZ provides an easy one-click search. There's no excuse to delay searching an acronym when the definition is right in front of you. You can trust the definition provided as it comes directly from your team!

Risk Reduction

ABRZ reduces risk related to acronym error. Between 1950 to 2019 scientific abstracts generated over one million unique acronyms. The more acronyms we create the higher risk we have of error. Did you know that the National Institute of Health (NIH) conducted a study on prescription error that demonstrated a high occurrence of abbreviation/acronym error? Between 2004 to 2006 at over 682 facilities, 29,974 medication errors were attributed to medical abbreviations. Read more here...

My Story

I'm originally from California and moved to Atlanta to earn a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!). I was lucky to gain invaluable work experience at Coca-Cola, PPG, Techtronic Industries, and United Launch Alliance. I have worked as an R&D, Mechanical Design, and Systems Engineer. Guess what all workplaces used acronyms!

I am currently living in Denver, Colorado enjoying the snow, hiking, camping, climbing, and anything else outdoorsy with my girlfriend and our two mini Aussies (Rocket and Bruno)
